  The Owlbear departed the port of Galecrada at the first light of dawn. The trip to Uxmal was expected to take roughly a week. As the ship left port Captain Fenn assembled the crew to introduce a late passenger, a certain Atogori Higari, the arrival of whom Horatius noticed late last night. Following this Fenn requested an officers meeting in his cabin. New crew members were surprised to discover that Fenn was sharing his cabin with his partner Selena. She was sitting on the bed in the corner during the entire meeting. As it turns out, the woman has been sailing with Fenn for years now, so the crew mostly came to terms with having her onboard by now. Fenn gave the customary briefing regarding the planned voyage. The ship was carrying cargo for the Sea of the Dead Trading Association as usual, mostly grain, fruits and other produce to Uxmal. A remote corner of the Sea of the Dead has gained a peculiar reputation among fortune hunters in recent decades. The waters between the Wak'na Islands are shrouded in a thick, unrelenting fog.
